Hon'ble Foreign Minister officially conveyed the support of Bangladesh for the candidature of Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari

Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, MP has officially conveyed the support of Bangladesh for the candidature of Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, Advisor of the DiwanAmiri of the State of Qatar for the post of Director General of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) during his meeting today with the visiting dignitary from Qatar.Earlier, Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari called on the Hon’ble Prime Minister.

Rushanara Ali MP calls on Foreign Minister

Rushanara Ali MP, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Bangladesh called on Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali M.P today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.
During the call on, the Foreign Minister congratulated Rushanara Ali on her being appointed as the British Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Bangladesh.

Visit of Indonesian Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister of Indonesia Retno L. P. Marsudi will arrive Dhaka tonight. She will have a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali, MP tomorrow morning. Both the Foreign Ministers will then fly to Ukhia to have some meetings/programs.

In the evening the Indonesian Foreign Minister will pay courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban before leaving Dhaka at 2200 hrs.

Call on by Sudanese Secretary General of the Secretariat of Sudanese Abroad

Sudanese Secretary General of the Secretariat of Sudanese Abroad, Ambassador Dr. Karar Altohami paid a ccourtesycalll on the Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali, MP this afternoon at the BICC.

During the discussion it was learnt that Dr. Altohami attended 7 more GFMD prior to 9th GFMD in Dhaka. He was pleasantly surprised to see such a nicely organised event and thanked Bangladesh for taking the lead in this vital area related to development. Drawing the similarities in the two countries they underscored for more collaboration in agriculture, fisheries and other areas.
